
The Mayfair Condo of Boca Raton is a stunning and beautiful building. Its architecture is very unique and can best be described as “majestic.” Architect Morris Richter was inspired by a hotel while travelling in the Arabian Peninsula. You really have to see it to understand. The condo is not an impersonal and cold high-rise as many other buildings. The Mayfair only has 5 stories, with just 55 units. The units are nicely positioned in a circle around the center Atrium – which is an open-air oasis with a large pool and fountains. You can get your best view from Google satellite images (the first picture below). As you arrive at The Mayfair, you come onto a circular driveway and stop under a tall overhang to approach the lobby. As you enter through the automatic doors, you are greeted by a guard at the 24-hour security desk. You will find yourself in an absolutely gorgeous lobby, freshly renovated, with marble floors, expensively furnished waiting area, and a grandiose chandelier above you. Through the next automatic doors you will enter the amazing open-air Atrium. With plush greenery, surrounded by a pool of water and multiple high-air fountains, you will feel like you’ve entered a 5-star hotel on a never-ending vacation. The full Atrium was renovated only several months ago, with new brick pavers, a refinished pool-bottom, and freshly painted walls everywhere.
As a guest, you can park in the outside parking lot right next to the main entrance. As a resident, you have access to a clean and safe underground garage. You will notice that almost all condos in the area have outside garages. You will also notice that it rains a lot in South Florida, especially during the tropical season. With an underground garage, you never have to worry about getting wet. To get to your unit, you have the choice between stairs or two elevators – all of which bypass the lobby.
Also as a resident, you have access to the many incredible amenities that help create the luxurious lifestyle that you deserve in Boca Raton. The Mayfair has a private community pool with cabanas available. There is also a tennis court outside, a game room, sauna, fully-equipped gym, and an exquisite clubhouse located just above the grandiose lobby – a great set-up to impress any guests that arrive for a party and see the clubhouse integrated with the main entrance. For convenience, each unit also has a personal storage space in the basement as well as a storage closet right outside each unit.
The location of The Mayfair is also unmatched – in an area where real estate is becoming increasingly scarce as space is limited. The address is South Ocean Blvd, also known as A1A. This is the only street by the ocean along the east coast, between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. The Mayfair is on the west side of the street, bordered by two small and quiet residential side-streets. Beach access is only a one-minute walk across the street. The two closest cross-streets are Camino Real to the north and Hillsboro Boulevard to the south. The intersection of Hillsboro & A1A is a very busy beach and tourist area – with a pier (for fishing or just walking), constant activity, shops, several very busy restaurants, and hotels. You can either take your car and drive there in 3 minutes or take a casual walk to arrive in about 15 minutes. By the Camino Real & A1A intersection, you have the Boca Inlet – where boats come in and out of the Intracoastal Waterway to access the Atlantic. Many people visit the inlet simply to relax and watch the boats or to go fishing. Downtown Boca Raton is only one street away – the next parallel to A1A, called Federal Highway. Grocery stores can be found at both the Hillsboro & Federal as well as the Camino & Federal intersections. And if you have any guests that are visiting who would like to stay at a hotel, you have the exclusive and renowned Boca Raton Resort & Club 5 minutes away on Camino Real between A1A and Federal Highway. There is simply no better location than this.
At The Mayfair, the unit for sale, number 208, is located on the north side of the second floor. You will have an amazing view at a quiet street that is filled with greenery – plush lawns and trees. The easiest way to enjoy your neighborhood is to sit and relax on the long patio/balcony. The balcony spans across the whole condo unit, from one corner to the other – and you can access it from any room. There are many benefits to facing toward the north: you have beautiful ambient lighting into the unit throughout the day, the temperature inside will not fluctuate every hour with the intensity of the sun, your thermostat will have a more stable temperature and the electricity bill will be less, you will be able to sit on the balcony with a comfortable shade without sweating in the direct sun, and you will not need to put down the blinds to prevent glare when watching TV or reading in the living room.
Unit 208 has a spacious living area of 2140 square feet, with 2 large bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The full unit has been completely remodeled, from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. Nothing was left untouched: fresh flooring throughout, a brand-new kitchen and redesigned bathrooms. The kitchen was redesigned to include a bar with an opening into the living room. All other units in the building block off the kitchen and create a confined space. With granite countertops, brand-new appliances, and custom-ordered cabinets, there is nothing below perfection in this kitchen. Likewise redesigned from ground-up was the master bathroom. Yet you still have a third corner to decorate and an additional eating-area at the back of the kitchen. It truly feels like you’re in a full-sized family home and not an individual condo unit. A layout such as this and the large square-foot area is hard to come by in East Boca Raton – especially on A1A.
